Love it
This is a review for the amber rose scent. I was excited to try this shampoo because the owner has hair like me: fine, but a lot of it. And finding a good shampoo has been a challenge. I didn’t love it the first time around but it really grew on me. My hair looks thick and shiny and looks even better day 2, which seriously never happens. I guess it cleans more thoroughly than other shampoos. I’m on my second bottle and will for sure keep using this amazing product!
Give it a chance
I have to say I didn't love from a first try. All aforementioned "snarled devoid of all moisture" hair, yes. Initially, I was too quite disappointed... UNTIL I realized that this shampoo is a SCALP shampoo, not a hair [shaft] shampoo. Aha! :) So I started to use a different shampoo for my hair as a first step, then the Clean shampoo as a second applied exclusively on my scalp. Massage, leave for a few minutes. And Voila! My scalp is more balanced it's been in years (no itchy/flaky/angry spots), I went from washing my hair every other day to every third or fourth, which is a big deal to me. Yes, you have to use a conditioner after, that's for sure. But as a scalp shampoo, I'm a believer.
I don't get it.
The scent is great, and I thought this would be good for my fine, increasingly thin hair. Unfortunately, I had to use a ton of product, and my hair was very snarled after washing with this. It was not a nice experience. I would be open to trying a volumizing formula from this brand, but this did not work for me. I had to give it away.
I wanted to love it
I really did want to love it. The scent is divine. The packaging is lovely. However, my hair is fine and easily weighed down. When using this shampoo, my hair felt coated and heavy. I do think that this is a lovely shampoo choice for someone blessed with thicker, rich hair.
Very drying
This product smells great but thats about it. The shampoo is very drying. Because its clean and green it does not lather at all. I just don't get the overall feeling that it is cleaning my hair other than ******* all the moisture out of it. Using the shampoo and conditioner together, my hair is fine and it left it dull and lifeless, and oily.
