ABOUT THIS BRANDWhen a lifelong athlete encounters the same skin hurdle time and time again, she handles it the only way she knows how: head-on. Anna Buss battled rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and sensitive skin her whole life. Her love and understanding of the human body gave her a unique perspective on solving her skin woes: instead of forcing the skin into submission, learn to speak its language and transform its behavior from the inside out. After years of R&D to understand how the skin works, Anna left her corporate job and founded Fitglow Beauty, a passion project-turned-high performance skincare and color cosmetics line, backed by volumes of evidence-based research.
I usually use a product for a month before reviewing. I don't feel like this one requires a wait. I've been using it this week, and it does exactly what it says it will. My skin is hydrated, plumped, and the bakuchiol in this and the Vita Rich Cream are potent enough to deliver anti-aging results similar to those I've gotten from other bakuchiol products (it's in everything now!). I really like the idea of a refillable pump, especially when the bottle is as big and plastic-heavy as this one is (although I don't like that the cylinder rattles around inside the outer plastic housing). I will use this up, but not sure I will repurchase. I tend to prefer products that smell like essential oils and natural products, with rich earthy colors. Fitglow is aimed more at people who want skincare that is more like mainstream commercial skincare in the way it looks and smells and is packaged. This one is more floral, but they mostly smell sweet and candy-like. That's not my thing for skincare--although I'm addicted to the Lip Serums--but if it's yours, Fitglow products deliver results. I do think it is interesting, this is the first bakuchiol containing mist I've seen. Fitglow has some really great, innovative ideas.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Night Essence. We agree, skincare is a really personal experience particularly when it comes to scent- we actually love the sweet scent Night Essence provides but completely understand that it isn't a scent that resonates with you. We also love that Fitglow is working so hard on creating more sustainable packaging solutions with their refillable outer packaging initiative. Thank you again for taking the time to share your first impressions with Night Essence!
