ABOUT THIS BRAND
From a college fascination in Poland to self-education in aromatherapy and beauty products in the US, Ava Zhan built Earthwise Beauty to satisfy her desire for sustainable and pure products that mainstream brands weren’t offering her. Earthwise Beauty grew from a New York City apartment where Ava was enamored with creating potions and concoctions for herself and coworkers to today’s ethereal brand based in the Pacific Northwest.
Earthwise Beauty prides themselves on their partnerships with organic gardeners, two beekeepers, and a handful of essential oil and hydrosol distillers to create environmentally conscious products while ensuring fair trade practices. Ava continues to explore new ways to develop her brand and has enjoyed increasing her experimentation with her products by featuring flower and gem essences to enhance the inherent properties of the ingredients.

Warming, exotic healing
Tigress is part moisturizing, glistening, but never greasy, balm, and acne spot treatment. How do the conditions of a dearth of moisture and acne get treated by the same product? By addressing inflammation. This balm is like a pore refining yet soothing reset, giving the skin a breath. Also, the spice market smell is a treat for the senses, giving the nose an indication of the calming, balancing effect this product gives. I love it, and especially as a single product overnight when my skin is stressed out, breaking out or dry and sore. Earthwise Beauty Balms are great. Isadora is really thick and creamy and smells like expensive perfume. Yasuni is a good, does it all balm with even some very, very mild resurfacing and smoothing properties that smells of cranberries and coffee. I only wish Beauty Heroes would now also stock Green Leaves Face Balm from Earthwise, a greens and violet smelling balm that actually is my favorite cleansing balm. Tigress also might work as cleanser, but I love my skin to bask and bathe in its comfort.

Outstanding balm!
This balm is incredibly luxurious, and the scent transports me to another place. I love the effects on my skin as well. I've been using this balm in lieu of a serum after cleansing, and it sinks in quickly, calms my redness-prone skin, and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day. It has also helped with some postpartum breakouts I've been experiencing of late. Will definitely repurchase - stunning product and experience.
