Nala
Nala is a Vancouver-based, mother-daughter owned brand creating innovative body care products free from any known carcinogens. Their story begins with the loss of Alan, husband and father, to cancer. Driven by that loss, Nala’s product formulation standard is “free-from”—a commitment to exclude even potentially carcinogenic ingredients. Beyond being free-from, Nala is born from a place of love—Nala is Alan’s name spelled backwards, an ode to his spirit and inspiration. The brand is grounded in the belief that natural body care should never mean compromising on performance, efficacy, or how it makes you feel: confident, secure, and beautiful.
Nala’s vision is to integrate preventative care into daily life through products that inspire self-awareness, self-care, and self-advocacy. Best known for their natural deodorants, their award-winning formulas are crafted in-house using premium, value-added ingredients. Committed to cradle-to-grave sustainability, Nala focuses on vertical integration and the creation of long-lasting, multipurpose products. All of their products are packaged in recycled and recyclable materials, including FSC-certified paper and 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) deodorant tubes.
