I was reluctant to try this under makeup, as it is quite a dewy finish. However, I apply a bit of moisturizer on top of this Activist Serum and quite a few of my foundations/BB/CC products melt right in and last all day. Best of all- when I cleanse in the evening I have zero dryness as was typical with my other 3x expensive oil. I will repurchase! I only with my D humectant hadn’t become un-coagulated as I would have absolutely tried to top it!!

I love putting this on my skin then spraying with Rose water or other hydrosol. The water gets absorbed into my skin along with the serum and it goes to work. Super hydrated, bright, calming and healing. Great day or night.

Although at first I was a little disappointed in this months beauty box - I already have a manuka mask, manuka honey and straight manuka oil - I am so pleased with this oil. I love oils, and use them AM and PM. Sometimes under moisturizer, sometimes over, sometimes mixed. I will use this up! This doesn't have a manuka oil scent which is VERY strong - both the scent and effect of manuka are stronger than Tea Tree. For reference, my skin tends to be a little dry/combo, and I'm not sensitive or reactive to products.

This is amazing for my skin. I have reactive, combination skin that seems to need significant moisture to combat the dry winter months without causing inflammation and breakouts. It's always been a tough balance for me and this has made my skin glow without being greasy. I layer it with D DROP Humectant Factor and my skin is velvety. I can even cut out foundation and just use a BB cream as my tone and texture is so even and smooth.

I’m surprised by how much I like this serum. My skin is fussy – it’s sensitive, combination, and averse to heavy serums. Even though the serum doesn’t fully sink in, I can still wear it under my makeup, and it (surprisingly!) helps to control my oil all day. It’s also wonderful to use at night. My skin is often patchy pink, but I’ve noticed a big improvement in my skintone since I started using this. The blue tansy scent is predominant, and I love it. I’ll likely repurchase!
