Chocolate Sun is the pioneer and creator of the very first organic sunless tanning solution and retail collection. Established in 2003 by founder Susie Hatton, Chocolate Sun was the first studio entirely dedicated to the art of sunless tanning. From these humble beginnings in Santa Monica, Chocolate Sun quickly became a favorite of Los Angeles locals, beauty editors, industry experts and celebrities alike. By 2005, Chocolate Sun developed retail sunless tanning and body care collections, offering crèmes, gels, atomizers, body scrubs, body washes, moisturizers, and much more to their clientele. Chocolate Sun now sells products around the world and has established a cult following in the beauty industry, receiving Allure’s “Best of…” 10 consecutive years in a row. The company has stayed true to its roots in Santa Monica, run by female entrepreneurs, and producing locally sourced, all organic and natural ingredients.
