ABOUT THIS BRANDA Mexican-born, Australia-dwelling mama of three, Ere Perez knows a thing or two about creating synergy and harmony. Growing up, Ere benefitted from a culture rich in tradition, spicy foods, bold colors and passion-fueled art. Her grandparents were natural healers who introduced Ere to the power of plants, and her mother encouraged her to experiment with beetroot to stain her lips, wary of anything conventional that may contain synthetic and harmful ingredients. Ere was raised to revere the land, its potential, and its people, so when she migrated to Sydney, Australia, she rooted down with these values pulsing through her. Sydney, with its chic simplicity and easy-going beach culture, inspired Ere in new ways: the food was clean and light, her natural surroundings near Bondi Beach were breathtaking. The richness of her Mexican roots juxtaposed with the freshness of her new home gave Ere a unique point of view when it came to natural cosmetics: she was looking for bold color made with clean ingredients that she could afford. Not finding what she was looking for, Ere decided to create it. Fifteen years later, Ere Perez is a global brand rooted in passion and simplicity, striking the perfect balance in quality, affordability, and fun!
Applies with a lot of pigment!
If you’re good at make up this is probably great. It’s a lot of pigment and a beautiful flushed color which looks great of my olive complexion- so much richer than more pinky colors. I find it a little hard to apply because it’s not very oily and very pigmented but also I’m pretty bad at make up.
Pretty and Good-proof
This is the first time I’ve been able to successfully do a bright lip. The color is saturated and lasts; the formula is moisturizing, which both feels nice and it’s easy to apply without total precision. As cheek color, it blends in easily too.
I picked up the limited edition make-up discovery in pink and got the Holy color pot. This is a pop of color for sure! A little makes a big difference in brightening my face. I can use this easily as a blush, but it is also a moisturizing color for lips. It has good staying power and is ideal for travel since it is a wonderful multi-tasker. I love it enough that I sent the red to a friend as a gift.
