Effective Makeup Remover
The scent profile is mesmerizing. It really encourages me to take my time working it in & removing it intensifies the experience. Get the mitts if you can. When I finished the first jar, I meant to get Mahalo’s Unveil but decided on another jar because I love it and there was a bit of a financial incentive as well. I’m a Texan that needs peace, calm and effectiveness in my downtime. My skin type can’t accurately be defined. My skin is just as temperamental as the weather here. So is my budget, I need products to do what I’m told they will with no bumpy, irritated surprises popping up.
Great
Love this cleanser. Simple, not overpowering and leaves your skin smooth, clean and nourished!
Removes Makeup
I could not get accustomed to using this for everyday cleansing use. It certainly worked and left lovely, but disrupted my usual routine and I couldn't get used to the change. However, I do use this as an eye makeup remover and it works beautifully even on tough waterproof mascara. I feel like I'm doing something luxurious for that delicate eye area.
Wasn’t Initially Into It...But...
Similar to a previous reviewer, I wasn’t feeling this brand when the box came out. I had become used to the easy to wash away Mahalo Veil Cleanser and was not looking forward to that extra step of removing it with a cloth. With time, I got to appreciate and simply love the effect that this cleanser was having on my skin. My skin was dewy, fine lines seemed to disappear, and I was impressed. I need to order a new cleanser and know that I will absolutely repurchase this again.
Ok.
This product smells spa like. But as far as actual cleansing I have others I prefer more- Mahalo Cleansing Balm, Mandy Aftel's geranium cleanser (LOVE this one, its' highly underrated), and Wabi Sabi Botanicals coffee cleanser. This is nice, just not nice enough to be part of the long term rotation.
