This is one cleanser I’ll keep on hand... love the easy pump and the lovely facial oil which is light and gentle on my skin.
Thanks for letting us know Nancy. One of our favorite ways to use Lightwork is to effortlessly remove makeup. We're thrilled to hear you are enjoying this Hero product.
I love Pai and many of their products, but this cleansing oil does not stand out. I much prefer Living Libation's "Best Skin Ever" cleansing oils.
I liked this at first. It’s smells really good when you emulsify it. It took me awhile to realize it (over half a bottle) but this made my face SO dry. Nothing would work to rehydrate it. I was giving away skincare thinking they were the issue. Also, my face stayed broken out. I don’t usually double cleanse. I’m not a makeup wearer so a good oil cleanser that rinses clean is enough, but turns out this was leaving a residue. Within a few days of removing it, my skin bounced back to normal. I know its a good product loved by many but it didn’t work for me :(
Thank you for sharing your experience with Light Work. We haven't heard of any other instances where this was drying for people but are so sorry to hear it didn't work for you.
This cleansing oil absolutely works to get rid of makeup and sunscreen. But for me the emulsification isn't quite enough and I find I have to use more of my second cleanse to get rid of the film this leaves behind on my skin. But I would still recommend it for someone with dry skin who wants a gentle oil cleanser as this really does work and a little goes a long way.
This cleansing oil is so gentle yet effective. It removes all traces of makeup and leaves the skin clean. Most importantly, does not sting my eyes like several other cleansing oils have done to me. Two pumps is what I use at night, and use as directed. Skin is soft, hydrated but clean. I like to use this as a first step in my double cleanse method.
