After my shower I applied a thin layer of this dreamy butter to my skin and proceeded to massage a section at a time with my bian stone. Always moving to the heart it felt refreshing. It's solid texture is different than a common body cream. But it wasn't till later did I feel a delightful dance of energy flowing across my body. Love this product. Will always keep it on hand
I used the recovery body treatment after a dry brush and shower as recommended. I started by applying a normal amount on my skin and then used the Yina gua sha tool to massage the product, focusing on one area at a time and always circulating towards the heart. It was a much needed act of self care and my skin has never felt softer. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with this YINA Hero product. We know others will enjoy reading this review.
This is quite a beautiful and unique body balm. It smells herbal and medicinal which I really enjoy. Less is more for me! I used a bit the first go and I was tacky even into the next day. A lighter layer melts right into the skin and is very moisturizing. - I took a star off because of the packaging. My lid just keeps spinning around without actually locking into place when I am closing it and the white inner lid is wonky and bent so it's not actually sealing my jar. I'm worried this balm will go off sooner than normal without being able to fully close it. I don't know if this an issue across the board of if it's just my jar. -
I agree with the reviews about texture. My whole jar is tiny pebbles of solidified oil. By the time I take it out and try to warm it up with my hands, I have most of it on the bathroom floor. I don’t mind the medicinal smell as I appreciate the healing ingredients. It’s just that my jar is just a strange useless consistency. Also, my stone arrived broken :( Def not my favorite box.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Audrey. We are so sorry to hear that your stone arrived broken and the Recovery Body Treatment wasn't the consistency it was supposed to be. We'd happily send you a replacement of both products so you can really experience this extra special duo.
This is so unique. The scent is herbaceous and clean. It doesn’t linger too far after applying it to the skin like some body balms/oils can. I’m in a colder climate so I think the balm must have solidified a little bit while on its way to my house, which did cause some of the texture to create little caviars but I just warm it up between my hands which would be my preferred method of applying it anyway. Instead of a applying a thick balm, the warmth creates this really luscious texture that smooths into the skin super easily. What I love most about this, besides the general concept of a balm that helps move stagnation in the body, is that the moisture it locks into the skin lasts at least a couple of days.
