This took a while to grow on me, it has really proved its worth in the southern hemisphere winter. I agree with the other reviews - if you use a bit much it can be a bit sticky, I find two pumps is perfect for face and neck. It layers nicely with my other creams and oils, the scent is fairly strong but doesn't linger.
I have dehydrated, breakout-prone skin and it needs varying levels of moisture depending on hormones, weather, stress, etc. This serum really hydrates me and doesn't exacerbate any inflammation I may be experiencing. I press a fine layer of Indie Lee oil on top prior to sunscreen and my skin feels happy all day. It does have a blue tansy scent which I quite like, and the dispenser is well calibrated for only a small drop; I usually use two pumps and am happy not to waste product.
I'm not a fan of scents in my leave-on skincare, even of the essential oil variety. People love to argue with me about it but there's no proof essential oils actually do anything for the skin and lots of research that shows scent of any kind in skincare is damaging over the long term. Having said that, I do love the formulation of this serum and it absolutely does what it's supposed to do. I don't really need a hydrating serum myself but I use it on an off when I'm having a particularly indulgent skincare day and I enjoy it for that.
I'm becoming a huge Mukti fan. Everything I've tried has been wonderful. This serum has helped hydrate my dehydrated skin. It definitely has a strong blue tansy scent, so if that's not your thing, avoid it. Other than that, it performs well. There is a slight tacky feel when I have over applied and not let it absorb. I'm able to put my face oil once it's soaked in no problem.
