In 2008, husband and wife Fabian Lliguin and Anna Ayers combined their expertise—one being a fashion designer and the other a hairstylist—to create Rahua Rainforest Grown Beauty and Haircare. They shared a passion for bringing innovative, plant-based products to nourish and transform hair. It all began on a trip to the Amazon rainforest where Fabian encountered women with long, lustrous hair that passed their waistlines. The secret was rahua oil, derived from the rare ungurahua nut, used for centuries by tribal women to nourish their hair. This superpower ingredient helps weak and damaged strands come back to life.
